Mine 2D: Survival Herobrine is an extensive Minecraft-style survival game in which you can explore a 2D game world and mine resources.

You may already be familiar with the game principle from the open-world computer game "Terraria". In this version of the game, you also control your character through a two-dimensional world of blocks in which you can freely shape your environment like in a sandbox. Mine raw materials such as wood or stones and use them to create tools and items via your inventory.

How the controls work

Use WASD, the arrow keys or the touchscreen to move and jump your noob character. Use the left mouse button to mine resources and the right to place blocks. If you hold down the Shift key, you can use the right mouse button to place blocks in the background and build closed rooms.

Build creative houses

Dig through the earth and find rare stones, ores, gems and hidden caves full of treasures. With these resources, you can construct increasingly complex buildings and build a luxurious palace or place a mighty defense tower in the game world.

Tips from the Survival Guide

• In the craft menu, you can see which raw materials you need to craft objects. At the beginning, collect wood and stone in particular to quickly produce efficient tools such as pickaxes and axes. This allows you to mine resources faster.
• Build a room or dig a cave while it is light on the first day, because zombies and other monsters appear in the world at night and hunt your character.
• Don't forget to collect food such as apples and eat in between to keep your noob strong.
• Expand your arsenal of weapons and craft a sword and bow to defend yourself against the monsters. Equipped in this way, you can explore new biomes and discover deserts or snowy winter landscapes. You might even come across the legendary Herobrine, a ghostly version of the popular Minecraft avatar Steve, who will play cheeky tricks on you.
